Kernel Based Machines for Pattern Classification

This talk will provide a part-tutorial presentation of the pattern 
classification problem and its formulation within the framework of Support 
Vector Machines. We will discuss the application of such algorithms to 
recognizing acoustic patterns and the issues that might arise when such 
algorithms are used for pattern recognition problems in bio informatics.
